Building an Integrated System of Geriatric Care

The SDIGEC is working to build an integrated geriatric system of care by providing workforce training across the spectrum of care from health care professionals and social workers, to family caregivers.  The SDIGEC has also begun recruitment of nursing, social work and medical students for the Alzheimer’s and Other Dementia student stipend and fellowship programs.
